Amy Cox

Biography:

Amy completed an LLM in criminal litigation before becoming a solicitor in 2007. She joined Sonn Macmillan Walker in 2008, when Dowse & Co’s criminal department joined this firm.

Amy undertakes all aspects of criminal law. She advises clients at police stations, represents them at the Magistrates’ Court and conducts Crown Court case preparation. She recently represented one of 11 defendants charged with a large-scale conspiracy to manufacture and distribute counterfeit currency. Her client was acquitted following a lengthy trial.

Amy also has experience in military investigations and Courts Martial. She conducts this work both in the UK and overseas.
