Lauren completed her law degree at Kings College London and qualified as a barrister, before cross qualifying to practise as a solicitor.

She joined the team at Sonn Macmillan Walker in 2009 and is now one of the firms leading magistrates’ court and youth court practitioners.
Lauren obtained her higher rights of audience in 2015 and regularly represents clients in crown courts across London. She has extensive experience in defending every area of criminal law and acts for privately funded and legally aided clients.
Lauren represents clients charged with a wide range of offences and her practice extends from minor offences to the most serious and complex offences including murder, sexual offences and terrorism. She is known for her skilled representation of young people in the police station and youth court and has the expertise to work with vulnerable clients, including those suffering from learning difficulties and mental health issues.
