Advice provided in CMA investigation
Tim Walker was instructed to represent senior management of a multinational company in a criminal investigation into activities of a newly acquired subsidiary whose previous managers were accused of breaching criminal cartel legislation.
Our clients were never suspected of being involved in any criminal activity and have never been accused. They were interviewed under powers contained in the Enterprise Act 2002 and Tim provided advice in relation to the investigation and the powers given to investigating officers.
None of Tim’s clients were accused of wrongdoing and ended up assisting in the investigation.
