Our fees for summary motoring offences

By David Sonn  |  13.12.2018

We are required by the Solicitors Regulation Authority to provide information as to our fees for representing you in motoring offences.

Please note that this page covers likely fees for summary only road traffic offences dealt with at a single hearing. Any matter that is contested will be likely to be dealt with in more than one hearing. There may be unforeseen circumstances that lead to your case being adjourned – these figures apply to our attendance at Court for a single hearing. For any other matter please contact David Sonn who will be happy to assist you.

To attend a central London Magistrates’ Court on one occasion our fees range from £500-£1,000 + VAT if you instruct us on a fixed fee basis. If you wish to come in to the office to see us then an additional fee will apply which will be based on our hourly rates. If you would like us to attend any other court then our fees are likely to be higher: please contact us.

If you would prefer to instruct us on an hourly rate then our fees are based on hourly rates that vary from £150+VAT to £375 +VAT depending on the seniority of the person conducting the work.

All work is supervised by a solicitor and all representation at court is by a solicitor or barrister.
