SMW Cake Night Raises £1,300 for Cancer Research UK

Yesterday, we hosted our SMW Cake Night as part of our February fundraiser in support of Cancer Research UK, and it was a fantastic evening filled with generosity, great conversations, and plenty of cake.

For the month of February, members of the team gave up sugar for the whole month. This meant all things processed sugar - sweet treats, sugary snacks, fizzy drinks - even crisps! 

SMW finished off the month with our annual Cake Night to mark the end of sugar-free February. It was wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces come together to support such an important cause. The turnout and the enthusiasm from everyone who attended truly made the evening special and reminded us how powerful community support can be.

We enjoyed a variety of homemade cakes and sweet treats made by the team at SMW, while contributing to our fundraising efforts. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of encouragement for the challenge our team has taken on this month.
