Annie joined Sonn Macmillan in 2022 and, since qualifying in 2025, has been committed to guiding clients through complex criminal proceedings with clarity and care.
Annie is a Crown Court solicitor at Sonn Macmillan Walker, also handling magistrates’ court matters. As a Police Station Accredited Representative, she combines sharp legal insight with relentless dedication to achieve the best results for her clients.
Annie earned her Law degree from University College London in 2020, followed by a Master’s in Criminal Justice Policy from the London School of Economics in 2022. She is due to complete her Legal Practice Course in 2024 and was awarded a Career Commitment Scholarship from BPP University. Annie trained under Amy Cox, Head of Litigation at Sonn Macmillan Walker, gaining extensive experience across all areas of Crown Court litigation.
Her experience includes complex cases involving large‑scale drugs conspiracies, EncroChat prosecutions, money laundering, serious violence and firearms offences, and serious sexual offences. She has also assisted in prosecutions brought by the Insolvency Service and the Environment Agency, worked on confiscation proceedings, and handled cases involving allegations of contempt of court.
Annie takes pride in delivering work of the highest standard. She has excellent drafting skills and is experienced in preparing representations to the CPS, requesting reconsideration of decisions to prosecute. She is highly skilled at navigating complex areas of law, such as sentencing in firearms cases, and communicates legal matters to clients with clarity and confidence.
