Flight attendant’s conviction for being drunk overturned on appeal

By David Sonn  |  08.11.2019

Sonn Macmillan Walker successfully appealed our client's conviction for reporting for duty as a flight attendant while drunk.

American Airlines cabin attendant Cynthia Struble’s conviction for being drunk after reporting for duty at Heathrow Airport last December was overturned on appeal at Isleworth Crown Court in London. Recorder Khan QC acceded to the submissions made by her solicitor advocate David Sonn that the charge alleging that she reported for duty while drunk was, as drafted, not capable of proof.

David Sonn acted as Cynthia Struble’s solicitor and advocate.
