Not guilty of murder and manslaughter
Breaking: Sonn Macmillan Walker secure murder and manslaughter acquittal
On 14 February our client was acquitted of murder and manslaughter. Our client admitted having robbed the deceased of drugs. An altercation took place which resulted in our client inflicting fatal stab wounds on the deceased. Our client’s case was that he took a knife to the scene and used it in the course of the robbery but that the assault he committed was because he was acting in self defence.
