Parliament Square attack

Sonn Macmillan Walker represent Salih Khater who was prosecuted after he drove his car at cyclists and police at Parliament Square.

The prosecution case was that he drove from Birmingham to London and spent the night in his car before driving to Parliament Square as rush hour began. He drove around Parliament Square several times before veering across the carriageway, striking a number of cyclists. He then drove over a pedestrian area navigating fixed street furniture, before aiming his car at police officers who had to leap out of the way to avoid being struck.

Following a seven day trial Mr Khater was convicted of two counts of attempted murder.
