Robert Morton
Robert joined Sonn Macmillan Walker in September 2022 as a Paralegal. He assists David Sonn in all matters of criminal defence, undertaking a wide variety of legal aided and privately funded work. Recent highlights include an appeal by case stated that is also the subject of judicial review, a high-value fraud acquittal, and an appeal to the Supreme Court.
Robert graduated with a 2:1 in Classics from the University of Bristol in 2015. He worked in the charities and media sectors, and as a musician, before moving into the field of law in early 2022. He attained a distinction in the GDL from the University of Law and was assisted in attending the course by a full-fee Career Changer scholarship.
