Ellie Godwin

Ellie joined Sonn Macmillan Walker in June 2024. She is currently qualifying as a solicitor whilst studying the Solicitor Qualification Exams. 

Ellie works under the supervision of Daniel Cavaglieri in the magistrates’ court team. Ellie started her career at Sonn Macmillan Walker in 2024, initially working in the police station department. She has developed her caseload in the magistrates’ court and gained experience working on Crown Court cases. 

Ellie is currently studying the Solicitor Qualification Exams part time at the University of Law, whilst training at Sonn Macmillan Walker. Prior to this, she graduated from Loughborough University with a BSc Criminology and Sociology degree in 2023, then completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Law in 2024.

Ellie prides herself on building strong and lasting relationships with clients, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout their case. She has had multiple successes in securing the discontinuance of charges and out of court disposals through her persuasive written representations.

Ellie is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients. Her approachable nature and determination make her a valued member of the SMW team.
